Light Painting
•Light painting, light drawing, or light art performance photography is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure.
•Light painting has long inspired photographers by capturing a moving light source while taking a long exposure photograph which is difficult to perfect but can produce exciting results. The camera’s shutter will open for extended periods of time, often well over a minute, trails of light can be drawn with LEDs, flashlights, or even sparklers. |
